Can be used as an additive to improve drying speed and hardness of oxidative drying (alkyd based) printing inks. Is effective at room temperature and in oven at elevated temperatures as well.

Effective at additions of 1 – 2 %. No more than 4 % should be added.

Characteristic
Soft-Gel Printing-Paste. Based on mineral oil and inorganic thickening agent's. Can be used as an overall reducer and conditioner of alkyd based printing inks. PRINTAGEL makes the body of compact inks softer and shorter avoiding making them too fluid. Promotes ink transfer and smoother ink lay down when solid printing.

Can also be used to lower the tack-value of inks to adjust colour sequence in multicolour printing.

Characteristic
The preparation as a spray allows an overall and even application on rollers, ducts, fountains and open tins. The wet inks should be sprayed evenly over the whole area. For keeping the ink open on the inking during longer break downs the inking unit should bee kept running few seconds to provide distribution of the antioxidant overall. The antioxidant evaporates during stoving in the oven and does not slow down dying of heat-drying printing inks.
